Hi! My name is Laurance and I am a Sydney Freelance Photographer. Since I was a child I've always been creative, pursuing dance at 9 years old until I moved to Johannesburg, South Africa at 18 with a professional contract. Fast forward 5 years, and I'm working in New Jersey, U.S.A... BOOM...Covid has me out of a job and I returned to Sydney quicker than Usain Bolt in the 100m.

So what now? Like anyone else experiencing total uncertainty and job security, I pivoted (or pirouetted) to marketing. While this wasn't my life's passion, the important lesson of adapt, overcome and survive is forged throughout hardship and I'm proud of how far I've come! 

So what does this have to do with photography you ask?

Well..I finally had saved enough to buy my first camera (that feeling is sweeter than watermelon on a summer's day right!) 

Since returning to Sydney, Australia I have fallen in love with this city all over again capturing special moments for friends, family and artists affiliated with the events I capture.
